Drone Motor Carrier - Assembly

The Drone Motor Carrier (v1.1) with the thrust-stand stack fitted, as one placeable molecule for the 3D editor: the carrier's four large machine pins and 25 wire-attach contacts are unchanged; the stack adds the load cell, motor and prop on top.

Layer Parts
Carrier drone-motor-carrier v1.1 with its nested RP2350A + ADS1220 molecule and PiProbe
Motor assembly Loadcell-to-PCB mount (aluminium) → FCU miniature force sensor (aluminium, orange cable to the JST on the carrier) → Loadcell-to-EMAX mount (aluminium) → EMAX ECO III 2808 (black matte, steel shaft) → APC 7x11E (black carbon fibre), plus the three motor phase wires to the carrier pads

The page model carries both as layers: use the Layers panel in the 3D viewer to hide the motor assembly and see the bare carrier. The same model with the motor assembly hidden by default is the Drone Motor Carrier page's viewer.

Placement is exactly as in Loadcell Thrust Stand Assembly.step (Fusion export, 2026-09-22), registered to the carrier's anchored frame (front-left pin MP2 at the origin, contacts at z = 5.6 mm). Envelope with the prop: 178 x 104 mm, ~73 mm above the pin tips.

Files: drone-motor-carrier-assembly.glb (anchored, layered, Draco), the assembly STEP, the carrier's KiCad board and schematic, and the carrier's footprint/symbol JSON (the wire-attach set is the carrier's).
