MCP601

Microchip · Operational Amplifier · SOT-23-5

The MCP601 is a single CMOS operational amplifier with a 2.8 MHz gain-bandwidth, rail-to-rail output, and low quiescent current. It runs from a single 2.7 V to 6 V supply, suiting battery-powered sensor conditioning, active filters, and general single-supply analog in a compact SOT-23-5.

Pinout

Pin Name Type Function
1 VOUT output Op-amp analog output. Rail-to-rail output swings within ~20 mV of VDD/VSS with a 25 kΩ load; short-circuit current is ±22 mA at VDD = 5.5 V.
2 VSS power_in Negative supply rail / ground. Typically tied to system GND in single-supply operation.
3 VIN+ input Non-inverting analog input of the op amp. Common-mode input range extends from VSS - 0.3 V to VDD - 1.2 V.
4 VIN- input Inverting analog input of the op amp. Common-mode input range extends from VSS - 0.3 V to VDD - 1.2 V.
5 VDD power_in Positive supply rail. Operating range 2.7 V to 6.0 V. Bypass with 0.1 µF ceramic close to the pin (see Section 4.5 Supply Bypass).
