Machine Pin Large Standard

Adom Large Standard press-fit machine pin (Ø3.6 body / Ø3.45 hole)
Machine Pin Large Standard
Adom press-fit machine pin (Large / Standard) for the Adom modular electronics
system. A machine pin (MP) presses into a plated through-hole and mates with a machine
contact (MC) on a stacked board (32mm scaffold grid). This page carries the corrected KiCad +
Fusion 360 .lbr library and an interactive 3D insertion view.
Mounting: press-fit (Mill-Max style)
The Ø3.6mm pin body presses into a Ø3.45mm plated hole -> 0.15mm diametral interference (solderless press-fit; solder-assisted with the 300um jet paste on the annular ring). The hole is intentionally undersized; this is correct, not a clearance fit.
Dimensions (measured from the STEP)
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Pin body OD (press-fit) | Ø3.6 mm |
| Seating flange OD | Ø4.8 mm |
| Tip / lead-in OD | Ø1.85 mm |
| Total height | 21.54 mm (8.4 above board, 13.14 below) |
| Footprint pad | Ø5.2 mm |
| Footprint drill (plated) | Ø3.45 mm |

# Machine Pin Large Standard
Adom **press-fit machine pin** (Large / Standard) for the Adom modular electronics
system. A machine **pin** (`MP`) presses into a plated through-hole and mates with a machine
**contact** (`MC`) on a stacked board (32mm scaffold grid). This page carries the corrected KiCad +

## Mounting: press-fit (Mill-Max style)
The **Ø3.6mm** pin body presses into a **Ø3.45mm** plated hole -> **0.15mm
diametral interference** (solderless press-fit; solder-assisted with the 300um jet paste on the
annular ring). The hole is intentionally undersized; this is correct, not a clearance fit.
