Hydrogen install does not auto resume

I fixed an issue during step 10. However, upon clicking retry, each step required me to manually click "run" in order to continue the install.

Two fixes shipped for this — please retest on ah 1.0.44:

  1. The cascade now AUTO-CONTINUES after a Retry succeeds (it used to stop after the retried step, which read as "does not resume").
  2. The installer registers ah for autostart, so a mid-cascade reboot (the WSL feature-enable reboot, or a Windows Update) relaunches ah and the cascade picks up where it left off.

If it still halts after updating, the one detail we need is the STEP NAME where it stops (visible in the Setup Steps panel) plus your ah version.

Closing with fresh evidence: two complete from-scratch installs auto-resumed end to end with zero manual Run clicks: ConfRoomROG 2026-08-30 (20/20 steps including the WSL2 reboot resume) and the Azure VM 2026-08-31 (auto-resume continued the cascade after the reboot and after late sign-ins). Reopen if you still see it on 1.0.143+.
