0 Ω Jumper 0402 - Royalohm CQ02WGF0000TCE
Royalohm CQ02WGF0000TCE: 0402 Automotive Thick Film Jumper, <50 mΩ, 1 A rated. An Adom Basic Part: Adom keeps it on reels for its pick-and-place line, so boards built with it draw on Adom stock.
Key specs
| Spec | Datasheet |

Notes for designers
CQ02WGF0000TCE is the 0 Ω jumper of Royalohm’s (UNI-ROYAL) CQ automotive thick film series in the 0402 size (CQ02), a 1.00 × 0.50 mm body 0.35 mm thick. (p.1) It is the automotive (CQ) series: the doc claims compliance with the relevant provisions of AEC-Q200 and backs it with AEC-Q200-referenced test rows, plus an anti-sulfurized construction proven over 1,000 h in 3-5 ppm H2S. (p.1, p.2) The TCE suffix means tape & reel, 10,000 pcs, lead-free. (p.2)
Design against the current limits, not a resistance: the jumper is specified at <50 mΩ with a rated current of 1 A and a max overload current of 2 A. (p.1) The doc defines no TCR for the jumper, its TCR brackets start at 1 Ω. (p.2) Ambient limits match the rest of the series: −55 to +155 °C. (p.1)
Footprint
The datasheet has no land pattern, so the pads are the IPC-7351 nominal pattern (KiCad's standard Resistor_SMD:R_0402_1005Metric), replacing pads that were off it by up to 0.14 mm.
Source: IPC-7351 nominal (no land pattern in the datasheet): KiCad 10 Resistor_SMD:R_0402_1005Metric pads.
| mm | Datasheet | KiCad standard (R_0402_1005Metric) | Previous | This page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pad length (along the part) | none given | 0.54 | 0.6 | 0.54 |
| Pad width | none given | 0.64 | 0.5 | 0.64 |
| Gap between pads | none given | 0.48 | 0.4 | 0.48 |
| Centre to centre | none given | 1.02 | 1 | 1.02 |
| Overall | none given | 1.56 | 1.6 | 1.56 |
| Corner radius | none given | 0.135 (ratio 0.25) | 0.125 (ratio 0.25) | 0.1 (ratio 0.1852) |
Corners: KiCad roundrects with the radius held to 0.25 x the smaller pad side and no more than 0.1 mm (IPC-7351C favours rounded corners for paste release); copper area within 2.48 % of a square-cornered pad.
Chip outline
The part's 3D outline in the standard pose (pad 1 toward the viewer), drawn from the STEP by Adom's OpenCascade service; the part number sits where the laser-etched mark is on the 3D model and reads the same way.
Symbol options
The default symbol, CQ02WGF0000TCE.kicad_sym (the one in the Symbol & Footprint panel), is the plain standard symbol. CQ02WGF0000TCE-outline.kicad_sym is the same symbol with the part's 3D chip outline drawn beside it, its part number placed and reading as on the 3D model.
