BQ25792 example
Source: public wiki project adom/bq25792-charger, Adonis's Fusion design. Routing implementation source: adom/fusion-bridge, branch feature/per-net-trace-routing, directory demo/routing/bq25792/. The original route demo and narrated version are committed separately from the later copper-retention work.
The trace-only native checkpoint has 109 components, 50 nets, 612 segments, 60 vias and zero pours on four layers (1, 2, 15, 16), with a 50.4 x 26.4 mm outline. Fresh native checks reported zero airwires, zero warnings and one pre-existing placement-clearance error. That is the baseline, not a full-pour result.
The user specified 0.1 mm process isolation and explicitly requested retaining floating copper to reduce ablation. Existing larger electrical clearances, including 0.2 mm edge clearance, remain constraints. TI specifies a 3.6–24 V input range for the BQ25792; this is not certification of a 0.1 mm channel for all net pairs or environmental conditions.
The comparison profile disables the source's all-object same-net spacing rule, which otherwise rejects intended same-net connections. All different-net rules remain enabled. The unmodified reference is preserved. The remaining baseline placement error signature is 5,1,f10227fd41e0ab5d. Do not automatically copy this exception into another design.
The completed native four-pour result preserves 612 segments and 60 vias, with zero airwires, zero warnings and the same one baseline error. Estimated layer coverage is 75.9%, 89.4%, 83.7% and 82.2%; combined coverage is 82.8%. Estimated removal-area reduction is 82.9% excluding drill voids, compared with the same trace-only board. Measurement unions native fill contours with modeled fixed copper; pad dimensions and circular approximations make these estimates, not metrology or machining-time measurements. The native filled export is the authority for polygon area and orphan classification. Do not claim production power/thermal or insulation qualification from geometric connectivity alone.

Reproduce the native pour stage
On an isolated trace-only checkpoint, use fusion_describe to discover the live interface. The recorded compatibility path calls fusion_run_modeling_script, explicitly activates the exact BoardDocument inside the script, verifies Electron editor identity, and sends native electronics commands through app.executeTextCommand. Older bridge builds may temporarily activate an empty Design document before running a script; inspect the real recording and remove those blank transitions from the edit. Do not overwrite a pinned bridge to resolve this.
For each of layers 1, 2, 15 and 16, select the layer and add a solid PGND polygon around this example's 50.4 x 26.4 mm outline. Set isolate to 0.1 mm, thermals off, orphans on and rank 6, then run RATSNEST. These are example-specific choices, not a blanket thermal or electrical recommendation. Export the refilled board before measuring area and run native DRC under the disclosed comparison profile. Preserve the one baseline error signature above.
The maintained example sources are under demo/routing/bq25792/ablation/ on the Fusion feature branch: native.py (guarded transport), record.py (capture and per-layer operations), coverage.py (BQ-specific area estimator), and take-02/final.json / coverage.json (native evidence). coverage.py depends on the parent geometry.py and its stripped reference board; it is not a standalone arbitrary-board estimator. Never reuse its fixed outline, via dimensions or pad model for another design without adapting them.
