I've been working on a demo to test out Codex Astra's amazingness. After seeing OpenAI's demo routing PCB traces, I wanted to see if I could reproduce it. Indeed we did, and beyond!
Here's the roughly two-minute progression, from simple traces and crossover routing to Adom's real solenoid board and our four-layer BMS:
https://wiki.adom.inc/api/pages/adom/codex/files/videos/00-kicad-astra-progression-with-bms.mp4
This is Astra in Adom Hydrogen, planning the paths and using Adom Bridge to make real, editable changes in KiCad. We added cleaner 45-degree routing, power and return pours, correct-net thermal copper, and stricter review. The BMS candidate reaches zero unconnected items; the video explains the inherited-rule and physical-test limits. Action is edited and accelerated to 10x, with precomputation disclosed. No external autorouter supplied the replacement paths.
We're on insiders, so use KiCad Bridge 0.9.347 or newer. In Hydrogen, select Codex and Astra, install the shared KiCad and Codex skills, then manually paste the reproduction prompt. It tells the AI how to download our public BQ76952 BMS, preserve the original, unroute a copy and calculate new routing using your manufacturing rules and loads:
