680 kΩ Resistor 0603 - Royalohm 0603WAF6803T5E
Royalohm 0603WAF6803T5E: 0603 Thick Film Resistor, 680 kΩ ±1%, 1/10 W. An Adom Basic Part: Adom keeps it on reels for its pick-and-place line, so boards built with it draw on Adom stock.

Notes for designers
0603WAF6803T5E is the 680 kΩ member of Royalohm’s (UNI-ROYAL) general-purpose thick film chip resistor line in the 0603 size, a 1.60 × 0.80 mm alumina-substrate body 0.45 mm thick, with a nickel barrier under the lead-free tin termination. (p.1) Tolerance is ±1 %; the ordering code decodes as 6803 = 680 × 103 Ω (1st-3rd digits significant, 4th = zeros), and the T5E suffix means tape & reel, 5,000 pcs, lead-free. (p.3)
Design against 1/10 W (100 mW) at 70 °C, the derating line runs from full load at 70 °C to zero at +155 °C, and keep continuous voltage at or below 75 V; the 150 V figure is an overload limit, not a working one. (p.1) TCR is ±100 ppm/°C, the 0603 bracket for values above 10 Ω. (p.3) A short-time overload is allowed to shift the value by up to ±(1.0 % + 0.05 Ω), and load life by the same, the 0.05 Ω adder matters at the low end of the range. (p.3)
Footprint
The datasheet has no land pattern, so the pads are the IPC-7351 nominal pattern (KiCad's standard Resistor_SMD:R_0603_1608Metric), replacing pads that were off it by up to 0.15 mm.

Corners: KiCad roundrects with the radius held to 0.25 x the smaller pad side and no more than 0.1 mm (IPC-7351C favours rounded corners for paste release); copper area within 1.13 % of a square-cornered pad.
Chip outline
The part's 3D outline in the standard pose (pad 1 toward the viewer), drawn from the STEP by Adom's OpenCascade service; the part number sits where the laser-etched mark is on the 3D model and reads the same way.
Symbol options
The default symbol, 0603WAF6803T5E.kicad_sym (the one in the Symbol & Footprint panel), is the plain standard symbol. 0603WAF6803T5E-outline.kicad_sym is the same symbol with the part's 3D chip outline drawn beside it, its part number placed and reading as on the 3D model.
