A general-purpose 5.1 kΩ ±1% thick film chip resistor in 0603 (1608 metric), from Royalohm (UNI-ROYAL). 5.1 kΩ is the USB Type-C Rd value: one from each CC pin to GND is what makes a receptacle look like a power sink to a Type-C source.

Adom stock
This value is not one of the Adom Basic Parts
(the 0603 basic resistors skip from 4.7 kΩ to 6.8 kΩ, and 5.6 kΩ exists only in 0402). Order it
by Mouser 303-0603WAF5101T5E or LCSC C23186. DigiKey does not list this MPN.
Footprint and solder balls
Two 0.90 x 1.00 mm pads at ±0.80 mm, the same land pattern as the 0603 basic resistors. The
footprint carries the Adom solder-ball layer (KiCad User.9 / Adom.SolderBalls, EAGLE
layer 101): 12 jetted 300 um balls at 0.25 mm pitch, 6 per pad, per
john/adom-solder-ball-layer-standard.
Positions are in 0603WAF5101T5E.solder-balls.json; in the 3D viewer the Solder balls layer
is off until you switch it on.
3D footprint reference
The page's 3D model is 0603waf5101t5e-hero-footprint.glb: the part plus nonphysical reference artwork on
the seating plane, the same contract the Adom basic-part heroes use. Copper pad boundaries are
teal dashed outlines at 50% opacity, silkscreen at 30%, and each pad carries its pad number at 50%.
The part body sits over its own pads, so orbit underneath to see the outlines. Each group is a
layer in the viewer's Layers panel; geometry and hashes are in 0603waf5101t5e-hero-footprint.overlay.json.
