# 0402B104J160CT: footprint, hover and README pass (2026-10-03)

John: footprints follow the manufacturer's land pattern; README.md replaces README.html; the assembly animation moves to a sub-readme.

- Footprint: ipc-fallback. IPC-7351 nominal (no land pattern in the datasheet): KiCad 10 Capacitor_SMD:C_0402_1005Metric pads. Pads 0.56 x 0.62 mm, centre to centre 0.96 mm, corner radius 0.1 mm.
- Rebuilt from the footprint: `0402B104J160CT-fpview.html` (and the lbr-hover bus on both viewers), `0402B104J160CT.lbr`, `0402B104J160CT.adom-lbr.json`, the hero GLB, and the pads / solder / silk in `0402B104J160CT.insertion.glb`.
- Etched STEP: created.
- README.html removed (it repeated the native Symbol & Footprint viewers); README.md rewritten; `docs/assembly.md` + `docs/assembly.html` carry the pick-and-place animation; `docs/datasheet.md` the datasheet pages.

# 0402B104J160CT: footprint names its 3D model (2026-10-21)

- `0402B104J160CT.kicad_mod` now carries a `(model "${KIPRJMOD}/0402B104J160CT.step")` line, zero offset and rotation: the page's own `model_3d_step` (page.json). Before, the footprint named no model, so KiCad libraries built from this page (AI Flow project pages, Adom Cloud Library exports) had no 3D body for the part.
- Nothing else changed: pads, courtyard, silkscreen and every other file are as they were.
