Integrated electronic fuse that sits in a supply rail and protects the load from overcurrent, overvoltage, and inrush. An internal FET limits current to a level set by one resistor at ILIM, a capacitor at dV/dT ramps the output to tame inrush on hot-plug, and EN/UVLO sets the turn-on threshold, with a thermal shutdown backing it all up. It works on a 2.7 to 18 V rail, so it guards USB, hot-swap, and module power inputs. A one-chip replacement for a fuse plus a supervisor plus a MOSFET.
