TL072

Texas Instruments · Dual JFET-input op-amp · SOIC-8

A dual JFET-input operational amplifier in a SOIC-8, a longtime favorite for audio and active filters. The JFET front end gives very high input impedance and low input bias current, so it does not load high-impedance sources, and it pairs a 3 MHz gain-bandwidth with a fast 13 V/us slew rate and low noise. Two independent amplifiers share the split supply, which runs up to plus/minus 18 V. It is the go-to op-amp for guitar pedals, mixers, and Sallen-Key filters.
