6 WDI input Watchdog input. If WDI stays high or low for 1.6 s (typ) the internal watchdog runs out and reset is triggered. The watchdog timer clears on a rising/falling edge of WDI or while reset is asserted. Cannot be disabled by floating.
7 RST output Active-low reset output (push-pull). Pulses low for trec (200 ms typ) when triggered and stays low whenever VCC is below the reset threshold or MR is low. Held low for trec after VCC recovers, the watchdog trips, or MR returns high.
8 VBAT power_in Backup battery input. When VCC falls below VSO, VOUT switches from VCC to VBAT; when VCC rises above VSO + hysteresis, VOUT reconnects to VCC. VBAT may exceed VCC. Connect to VCC if no battery is used.
