Zero-drift, bidirectional current/power monitor with an I2C/SMBus interface, in a SOIC-8 package. It measures the voltage across an external shunt on a bus rail from 0 to 26 V and reports current, bus voltage, and calculated power through 16 programmable registers, so a host reads amps and watts directly, no ADC math. Two address pins give up to 16 I2C addresses. The default board-level power meter for battery and rail monitoring.
