Toshiba · Dual H-bridge motor driver (MOSFET) · SSOP-24

A dual H-bridge motor driver in SSOP-24 that runs two DC motors or one bipolar stepper. Its MOSFET output stage is far more efficient than the bipolar L293D, so it drops less voltage and runs cooler while delivering 1.2 A per channel continuous (3.2 A peak). Each channel takes two direction inputs plus a PWM pin for speed, giving forward, reverse, brake, and coast; a standby pin cuts power. It is the driver on countless robot and Arduino motor shields. The motor supply spans 2.5 to 13.5 V with a separate logic supply. Several output and ground pins are doubled to carry the current.
