SN74HC04

Texas Instruments · Hex inverter · SOIC-14

Six independent inverters (NOT gates) in high-speed CMOS, SOIC-14. Each output is the logic complement of its input, the most basic logic function and a constant workhorse: inverting a signal, buffering and cleaning up slow or noisy edges, building ring oscillators and simple clocks, or squaring up a crystal. With six gates in one package it is often the glue that finishes a design. Runs 2-6 V.
