LM2937

Texas Instruments · Linear Regulator (LDO) · TO-220

The LM2937 is a 500 mA low-dropout linear regulator with a fixed output. It tolerates reverse-battery connection and load-dump transients, making it a common choice for automotive and industrial supplies where the input rail is noisy or unregulated. It needs only a modest output capacitor for stability.
