Adom Overview
Adom is the world's first AI-native electronics prototyping cloud lab.
Website: https://adom.inc/
Facility: 4400 Alliance Gateway Fwy, Suite 100, Fort Worth, TX 76177
Pricing
| Tier | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud Docker Container | $5/mo | Personal AI workspace — KiCad 9, Fusion 360 integration, JLCPCB/Mouser component search, Gallia Viewer, Claude Code AI, 13 AI skills. Software only, no physical hardware. |
| Cloud Workcell | $500/mo | Full remote-accessible physical electronics lab — includes everything in the Docker container PLUS xyZoom camera system (wide 120° FOV + zoomable to 10mm magnification), robot pincers, molecule ecosystem, 576mm x 576mm base scaffold. Control real hardware from your browser. |
| Camera Upgrade | +$100/mo | xyPanTiltZoom — adds pan and tilt axes for angled views, plus 3D viewer linking (physical camera matches your viewpoint in the 3D layout editor). |
Cloud workcell subscribers also get access to InstaPCB as an amenity (see below).
InstaPCB
4-hour PCB turnaround at JLCPCB-like pricing.
InstaPCB is Adom's on-site PCB fabrication service. Instead of waiting 2 weeks for boards from China, get your board in 4 hours at comparable cost.
How it works
- UV fiber laser process — rapid PCB fabrication on Adom's factory floor using ~14 dedicated "tool workcells" in a separate section of the facility.
- Mouser drone delivery — Mouser's distribution center is nearby; components are delivered by drone for same-day sourcing.
- Straight to your workcell — your fabricated board goes directly into your cloud workcell. Probe it, flash firmware, connect it to other boards and accessories, and start testing immediately.
Key differentiator
| JLCPCB (China) | InstaPCB (Adom) | |
|---|---|---|
| Turnaround | ~2 weeks (fab + shipping) | 4 hours |
| Pricing | Low | Comparable |
| Testing | Wait for delivery, set up bench | Board lands in your workcell ready to go |
InstaPCB is available as an amenity to cloud workcell subscribers. It is not a standalone service — it's part of living inside the Adom cloud lab.
Use Cases
Internal reference design
Companies can maintain a single cloud-hosted reference design that their entire team rallies around. That reference design always carries the latest hardware revision and the latest firmware/software revision, so everyone works from the same source of truth. Adding new capabilities is straightforward — swap in different molecules with different features, or create new custom molecules via the InstaPCB process — without rebuilding the whole project from scratch.
External demos
Companies or users can showcase their electronics product to external customers by simply sending them a URL to their Adom workcell. The recipient interacts with the real hardware remotely — toggling features, running tests, observing behavior — instead of the company having to physically ship electronics to every potential customer or partner.
Education
Companies, universities, or individual creators can set up a workcell and send a URL to students who then interact with the hardware under a curriculum. Students can upload different firmware to see how the hardware behaves, enable additional sensors from a plugin, run experiments, and learn hands-on — all without needing physical access to the equipment.
Research labs
University research groups get remote-accessible hardware labs without the overhead of physical space. Students and collaborators log in from anywhere — run experiments, iterate on designs, and use InstaPCB for rapid board spins during active research.
