TrackSimpleBoard
This molecule is a 43 mm × 19 mm black-and-white test track with a 30 mm × 19 mm white internal rectangle, designed for use with a workcell’s pincers to emulate the visual input a line-following sensor would detect in a physical robot scenario.
NSF Relevance
This molecule allows students to safely simulate real-world track conditions in the workcell, using values output by the line-following sensor to understand and optimize its operation as it would behave in a physical robot. Thus, students can develop the software to control the robot and watch as it reacts to physical line follower inputs in real time.
