MCP2515-xSO

The MCP2515 from Microchip is a stand-alone CAN (Controller Area Network) controller with an SPI interface. It implements the full CAN 2.0B specification with support for standard and extended frames at up to 1Mbps. Features include six acceptance filters, two acceptance masks, three transmit buffers, two receive buffers, and interrupt output. Paired with a CAN transceiver (like MCP2551 or TJA1050), it adds CAN bus capability to any SPI-equipped microcontroller.
