D_SMB (DO-214AA)

The SMB (DO-214AA) is a medium-power surface-mount diode package, one size up from the SMA. At 5.3 x 3.6mm, it handles higher power and surge currents, making it the standard package for TVS (transient voltage suppressor) diodes protecting power rails and data lines from ESD and lightning surges.
