STEP and GLB 3D models are 5050-sized, not 2020

While sourcing parts for the adom/led-grid-wall project I found the 3D assets on this page do not match the 2.0 x 2.0 mm WS2812B-2020 package:

  • WS2812B-2020.step — header comment says LED_WS2812B_PLCC4_5.0x5.0mm_P3.2mm.step and its CARTESIAN_POINT bounds measure 6.45 x 6.25 x 1.6 mm, i.e. a 5050-class PLCC4 model, not a 2020.
  • WS2812B-2020.glb — POSITION accessor bounds measure ~4.0 x 3.6 x 2.44 mm (in meters-scaled units 0.004 x 0.0036 x 0.00244), which matches neither the 2020 body (2.0 x 2.0 x 0.84 mm) nor the footprint.

The footprint and symbol look correct (2.0 x 2.0 mm, pads at ±0.75/±0.45). Only the 3D models are wrong. Any board rendered with this page's current STEP/GLB shows a 5 mm part on a 2 mm footprint.

Measured 2026-09-28, page files at commit e96ad6a (STEP sha not recorded here — happy to provide hashes). Suggest regenerating from the datasheet (2.0 x 2.0 x 0.84 mm body, pads per recommended land pattern) or pulling the correct Worldsemi CAD.
