U.FL-R-SMT-1(80)
Hirose Electric · RF coaxial connectors (U.FL) · U.FL receptacle, 3.0 x 2.6 x 1.25 mm, SMT
The Hirose U.FL-R-SMT-1 is the standard surface-mount U.FL micro coaxial receptacle: a 3.0 x 2.6 mm footprint, 1.25 mm high, 50 Ohm, for antenna and RF test connections with a mated height of 1.9 to 2.4 mm depending on the plug. The (80) suffix is the 10,000-piece reel; (01) and (60) are the same part in a 100-piece bag and a 4,000-piece reel, and everything on this page fits all three.

Pinout
| Pin | Name | Type | Function |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | SIG | passive | Centre contact (signal). One 1.0 x 1.05 mm pad. |
| 2 | GND | passive | Outer contact (ground shell). Two 1.05 x 2.2 mm pads, both numbered 2. |
Footprint
Pads follow Hirose's recommended PCB mounting pattern (drawing EDC3-302540-86, also catalog p.12): two 1.05 x 2.2 mm ground pads 4.0 mm overall and one 1.0 x 1.05 mm signal pad whose near edge is 1.0 mm from the coax axis. The origin is the coax axis. Paste apertures follow the recommended metal mask (0.10 to 0.12 mm stencil). The F.Cu keep-out between the pads carries Hirose's note: no conductive traces in this area.
3D models
All 3D models on this page are AI-created from the manufacturer's dimensioned drawings (no manufacturer CAD file is used or redistributed). They are Z-up, in millimetres, seated on the PCB top surface (z = 0) at the footprint origin, so the footprint's model reference needs no offset or rotation. The builder script is in provenance/tools/.

Page model only: the board-use model plus teal dashed pad outlines, silkscreen with pin 1 and pad signal names (adom-hero 1.4). Do not place it on a board. |
No part number is etched on this model. No clear flat surface: the top is the round mating shell around the centre contact (the planner's mark would float across the mating opening) and the 0.35 mm housing walls cannot hold the 16-character MPN legibly. The plain model is the board-use model.

Provenance
Every file is classified in provenance/provenance.json as source-derived (written from a cited manufacturer document), AI-created (modelled from cited drawings) or derived (generated by a tool), with its SHA-256 and the source document's revision, retrieval date and hash.
Open items:
- component-hero align guard reports FAIL (centre offset 0.475 mm > 0.32 mm tolerance). Cause: the Hirose land pattern is asymmetric (SIG pad centred 1.525 mm from the coax axis, GND pads centred on it) and the housing and the unsoldered rear shell tab also sit on the seating plane, so the bounding-box heuristic cannot centre. The independent per-pad check passes and the placement matches EDC3-302540-86.
- No virtual MPN mark (see mpn_marking)
- If the Hirose STEP is wanted, Hirose's written permission is required
