TMP117

Texas Instruments · Temperature sensor · WSON-6

Reads temperature to +/-0.1 C over a wide range without calibration, in a WSON-6 that talks I2C. Its 16-bit resolution gives 0.0078 C steps, and the accuracy is NIST-traceable, so it stands in for a Class-AA RTD at a fraction of the cost and complexity. An ALERT output supports thermostat limits, and up to four addresses share a bus. It runs from 1.8 to 5.5 V. The precision choice for medical, instrument, and cold-chain temperature.
