TMP116

Texas Instruments · Temperature sensor · WSON-6

Measures temperature to +/-0.2 C without calibration over the common range, in a WSON-6 that talks I2C. Sixteen-bit resolution gives 0.0078 C steps, the accuracy is NIST-traceable so it stands in for a Class-A RTD, and a small on-chip EEPROM stores calibration or an ID. An ALERT output supports thermostat limits and up to four addresses share a bus. It runs from 1.9 to 5.5 V at a few microamps. The lower-cost sibling of the TMP117 for accurate ambient and board sensing.
