Latest release v0.12.0-rc1

Canary build of 0.12.0 for the live CSWA gate: installed only on the test machine, by hand, from manifests/canary.json. Not a release: tools/release.sh --require-live publishes these same bytes as 0.12.0 once the live run passes.

v0.9.8 2026-10-01

0.9.8 (0.9.7 LIVE-PROVEN 2026-10-01: launch 16/16 READY 16.7 s with the log read as rewritten-per-start/complete, drain 5/5, quit gate 11/11, primed quit 3.4 s). Live measurement: the 3DEXPERIENCE Connected notice read with its owner frame disabled for an instant while SOLIDWORKS was busy inside a sweep's close, stopping the sweep as a modal. When the owner's state is the only fact that makes a window blocking, the census now re-reads it (5 reads, ~2 s): disabled throughout is still a modal; enabled later is a notification reported with ownerDisabledTransiently and the read history. Never applied to a window with a button, button-like captions or save/recovery/import words. 482 tests.

v0.9.7 2026-10-01

0.9.7 (0.9.6 LIVE-PROVEN 2026-10-01: launch 16/16, sweep PASS, drain 5/5, quit gate 11/11, priming fixed live twice). Adversary pass 44: the marker-history flag is removed — a session that never loads the platform add-in (SWK3DCompassAddin.dll) is ready once its log is quiet and COM agrees, and a log the session is still writing holds the start even on a machine's first launch; a platform load whose marker never comes stays starting and the timeout says why; the log's shape is recorded; the swx_stop startup carve-out is pinned to userAuthorized; underscore-prefixed arguments are stripped from caller input; swx_dismiss_blocking_dialogs reads a window's words with the same classifier as judge_window. 479 tests.

v0.9.6 2026-10-01

0.9.6, from 0.9.5 LIVE (2026-10-01): priming is no longer gated on session history (a startup document count had recorded a never-driven session as having held a document, and the quit was declined twice) — it fires on the declined, empty, dialog-free, authorized quit itself; history is advisory and records what each poll saw, never from a count read while starting, only from a count persisting across two polls or the bridge's own create/open. The quit gate decides on the bridge's dialog verdict (a notification no longer refuses its baseline). Every gated verb's reply carries the readiness its gate evaluated. The performance log is read from its per-start header and the on-demand rule keys on SWK3DCompassAddin.dll. 473 tests.

v0.9.5 2026-10-01

0.9.5: U1-U4 (gates print their own error text; optional UIA capture never aborts a gate; swx_status solidworks.sessionHistory; docs LIVE-PROVEN). Adversary pass 42: every verb that reaches SOLIDWORKS waits for readiness unless on a pinned 16-verb exemption list; the performance log speaks only for the session it was written in; COM alone never decides on a machine whose log writes markers; an on-demand add-in no longer leaves a session starting forever; the grace unlocks reads only; an authorized quit reaches the window-message rungs during startup; any poll seeing a document records session history; a failed prime close names the part to drain. Adversary pass 43: a dialog's words count (save/recovery/import in its text block; two or more button-like captions block) and notification evidence beats a licence-type title alone. 470 tests.

v0.9.4 2026-10-01

A notification is not a modal: windows are judged by measured modality (owner frame disabled, a Button-class control, or a known blocking kind blocks; a tool window over an enabled frame with nothing to click is a reported, never-answered notification; unread evidence fails closed). Fixes the 3DEXPERIENCE 'Connected' notice blocking every quit, sweep and import (measured 2026-10-01). Every dialog report carries the evidence. See the README roadmap, v0.9.4.

v0.9.3 2026-10-01

Attached is not ready: a READY stage (COM StartupProcessCompleted + the SOLIDWORKS performance log) gates every document verb and the quit (host_app_starting) after a crash measured 2026-10-01; SOLIDWORKS dying mid-sweep reports host_app_gone with crash evidence; a declined quit on a never-had-a-document session is primed (measured); ledger merges are multisets, lines carry seq, and the cap archives instead of cutting. See the README roadmap, v0.9.3.

v0.9.2 2026-10-01

Two versions of the ledger or the ownership registry (from the two older locations, or one changed after its copy) are MERGED into the live file, both versions kept beside it, instead of one picked; a small legacy file whose size and mtime match is hashed, so a same-length restore with the mtime put back is not settled silently; a recovery folder that cannot be created is refused once, before the first save (recovery_dir_unwritable). See the README roadmap, v0.9.2.

v0.9.1 2026-10-01

The data root moves out of ab's directory to %LOCALAPPDATA%\adom-solidworks-bridge, a directory only this bridge writes to. Both older locations (Adom Bridge\bridges-cache\solidworks, Adom Bridge\solidworks-data) are migrated oldest first; a legacy file that changes after its copy is copied again beside it and reported changedSinceCopy; sweeps refuse a temp-directory data root (data_root_is_temp); SKILL.md is the rules that never bend, with the detail in references/. See the README roadmap, v0.9.1.

v0.9.0 2026-09-30

SEV-1 fix: the bridge's data (recovery folders, ledger, ownership, launch state, timings, exports) moves out of ab's install cache - which every update re-extracts - to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Adom Bridge\solidworks-data. Legacy data is migrated on first start (verified byte for byte, interruption-safe, originals kept); swx_recover_list reads both locations and flags at-risk rescues; sweeps refuse recovery inside install locations; clean documents are recorded as closed in place. See the README roadmap, v0.9.0.

v0.6.9 2026-09-11

Since 0.3.3: sanctioned launch via the Platform shortcut with an attribution law (ShellExecute handle; LIVE-PROVEN attributable, Run Begin reached); sign-in wait is a stage, not a stall, with re-attribution bound to the COM-attached process; ownership persists across host respawns (LIVE-PROVEN); document list degrades honestly on huge sessions (LIVE-PROVEN on 2144 docs); import temps get an identity at birth; drain verb closes only bridge-owned temps under the resolved %TEMP%, by path, refusing title collisions; write gate refuses destinations it cannot check; busy/dead verdicts; graceful quit ladder (swx_stop v2, rung a by default). UNPROVEN LIVE and labelled so in the docs: the drain and every quit rung. Deny-by-default posture unchanged. 21 adversarial review passes, 303 tests.

v0.3.3 2026-09-03

0.3.2: swx_add_component identifies new instances by component NAME snapshot (GetComponents order is arbitrary; transforms previously could land on an older instance of the same file). 0.3.3: COM invoke retries RPC_E_CALL_REJECTED/RETRYLATER with backoff for every call; document enumeration cross-checks GetDocumentCount and raises docs_enumeration_failed instead of a success:true empty list; resolve-by-title can no longer report 'not open' from a failed read. Live-proven on the NSF crate rebuild (smoke gate: 50 reads, 0 under-reporting, 11 honest failures absorbed).

v0.3.1 2026-09-03

61 swx_* verbs at Fusion-bridge parity. Live-validated on SOLIDWORKS Design Professional for Makers 2026 (5 runs, final 128/128 clean). Deny-by-default writes at a dual-enforced choke point; sanctioned Connected launch via the 3DEXPERIENCE shortcut chain; RunMacro2 scaffolding; measured per-verb timings; action ledger.
