kia7042ap-at.lbr rebuild the library on adom-lbr 2.32.0. The published copy was built by 2.18.0, which imported every KiCad roundrect and oval pad as a SQUARE EAGLE smd; this carries the real pad shape across (0 -> 0 rounded pads) and stops dropping geometry drawn on KiCad User.N layers. Attributes, connects, pads and the pin-1 marker are gated against decreasing and are unchanged. · Ray 1mo ago

KIA7042AP-AT

KEC Semicon · Supervisor and Reset ICs · TO-92-2.54mm

KIA7042AP-AT from KEC Semicon, in a TO-92-2.54mm. Pinout and pin descriptions extracted from the manufacturer datasheet by ds2sf; symbol, footprint, and 3D from KiCad-official CAD.

Pinout

Pin Name Type Function
1 VCC power_in Positive supply input. Absolute maximum -0.3 V to +15.0 V; monitored rail for reset detection. Detecting voltage VS = 4.2 V typ (4.05 V min, 4.35 V max) for the KIA7042.
2 GND power_in Ground / VEE reference. All voltages referred to this pin.
3 OUT output Open-collector active-low reset / detector output. Pulls low when VCC drops below the detecting voltage; requires an external pull-up resistor (RL, e.g. 200 ohm test, 1 kohm typical application). VOL <= 0.4 V at RL=200 ohm; leakage IOH <= 0.1 uA at VCC=15 V; guaranteed to sink >=20 mA at 25 C (>=16 mA over -30 to +75 C); minimum operating VCC for valid low = 0.8 V typ.

CAD (KiCad official)

  • Symbol: KIA7042AP-AT
  • Footprint: Package_TO_SOT_THT:TO-92_Inline
  • 3D model: TO-92-2.54mm (KiCad packages3D, STEP)
  • 3D model files: kia7042ap-at-etched.step / kia7042ap-at-etched.glb carry the MPN laser-etched on the die in a toggleable Adom.LaserEtch group (Fusion-ready); kia7042ap-at.step / kia7042ap-at.glb are the bare package body.

3D model downloads

Two STEP files. Same geometry, different body top:

File Size Use it when
kia7042ap-at.step 27 KB You want the bare part, or you mark your own boards.
kia7042ap-at-etched.step 1.3 MB You want the part with KIA7042AP-AT already on it.

The marking in the etched file is real recessed geometry cut into the solid, not a texture or a decal: 366 faces against 19 in the bare model. It survives export, section views, and rendering in any CAD tool, and it drops straight into KiCad or Fusion with no extra setup.
