pose bugs: --steal drops --headline/--brief; pup ladder loses caller identity

Two bugs from the adom/sxsw-vote session (2026-08-11):

  1. pose --steal silently dropped the CLI's --headline and --brief: the gate reopened with an empty headline, so the long page title baked at 8cqw wrapping 4 lines (one word per line). Steal must carry the new invocation's args forward.
  2. pose's internal pup calls do not inherit the caller identity, so on a box where ADOM_AI_THREAD isn't exported the pup surface dies with PUP_OPEN_FAILED (caller_identity_required buried in the step log). Either pass the identity through the ladder or fail fast at start with the exact export command printed.

Both fixed in 0.17.0.

  1. Root cause of the dropped --headline/--brief was nastier than steal: the pose flag parser treated EVERY flag as valued, so any valueless flag consumed the next token: --steal --headline "X" parsed as steal="--headline" and the headline vanished entirely. Valueless flags (--steal, --fresh-vitrine, --no-fallback) are now declared boolean, and a flag followed by another flag parses as boolean instead of eating it. Steal therefore carries the full new invocation: headline, brief, everything.
  2. The pup ladder now carries the caller identity end to end: pose requires --ai-thread (#39), exports it, and the bridge adapter forwards it on every call (adom-bridge-cli gets the global --ai-thread flag; legacy adom-desktop gets ADOM_AI_THREAD in its env), so caller_identity_required can no longer kill the pup surface mid-ladder. Without any identity, pose fails fast at start with the exact retry printed instead of burying the refusal in a step log.
