Author-adjustable font size for the baked-in title and description

The image-zone text sizes are hardcoded in the studio's CSS, so an author who checks "Title (big headline)" / "Value-prop subtitle" / "Detail line" gets exactly one size for each, with no way to tune them from the UI. On 0.9.0 (public/index.html):

  • .h-title — font-size: 8cqw
  • .h-sub — font-size: 2.5cqw
  • .h-desc — font-size: 1.35cqw
  • component mode: .c-name — 5.5cqw, .c-spec — 2cqw

Nothing in the left rail touches these, and there is no autofit pass — the only sizing logic in the file is the .l-mpn.fit / .l-slug.fit step-down for long mono strings in the marquee overlay.

The ask

Add a font-size control for the baked-in title and description (subtitle + detail line), right under Image-zone text, so the size lands in the generated PNG rather than only in a local CSS patch.

A slider or a small stepper per line is enough:

  • Title: ~5–11cqw, default 8
  • Subtitle: ~1.8–3.5cqw, default 2.5
  • Detail line: ~1.0–2.0cqw, default 1.35

Keep the units container-relative (cqw) so a size chosen in the preview survives the 2000x1250 render unchanged, and persist the values with the rest of the pose state so hero-studio pose <owner/slug> reopens at the same sizes and Reset-to-proposed-default puts them back.

Why it matters

One size does not fit every package. A short name like "Hero Studio" at 8cqw reads as a billboard; a long one ("Adom Project Manager", "USB3 to Ethernet Data-Only Molecule") wraps to three lines against a max-width: 30cqw column and crowds the vitrine, and the only fix today is to shorten the words or hand-edit the installed CSS. The same goes the other way for the subtitle: some value props need to breathe, others are two words and could carry more weight.

This also comes up as the fallback for a class of problems already filed here. #3's item 3 (subtitle illegible at billboard distance) was fixed by moving the global default 2cqw → 2.5cqw, which is the right default but still a single global answer — an author whose subtitle still reads small has nowhere to go. An author-side size control turns those from "file an issue and wait for a release" into a slider.

An adjacent nicety, not required: an autofit toggle that shrinks the title a step when it would wrap past N lines, the same trick .l-mpn.fit already uses for long slugs. Manual control first, though — the explicit slider is the thing that unblocks people.

Shipped in 0.10.0 (live) with exactly your ranges: three sliders under Image-zone text (Title 5-11cqw default 8, Subtitle 1.8-3.5 default 2.5, Detail 1.0-2.0 default 1.35), cqw units so the preview and the 2000x1250 render agree, persisted with pose state, stamped into provenance, and Reset restores the defaults. Policy per Colby, and the in-UI hint says it in his spirit: the defaults are tuned to set authors up for success, and past that you are the author; adjust thoughtfully. No autofit pass, deliberately: a long title is the author's judgment call, and the dock-legibility tour step is where they exercise it.
