Baked slug (bottom-right) sits in the DYNAMIC marquee band — remove it or move it (and default it off)

The baked slug (bottom-right) is composited into the exact region reserved for the DYNAMIC marquee text — it directly contradicts the studio's own "keep the lower band calm" rule and duplicates the marquee's URL. It should not be baked there.

Repro / evidence (seen today on adom/pup-bridge, and earlier on adom/definitions):

  • overlay.slug (.slug-br) hard-composites the full wiki slug into the lower-right of the export.
  • But the lower third IS the dynamic band: the studio's OWN stagebar copy says "the lower band stays calm in the image because the marquee overlays its own info there." The homepage marquee already renders the page URL there.
  • So in the "With homepage overlay" preview the URL appears twice — the baked .slug-br (lower right) and the marquee's own URL (lower left) — in the exact zone the studio tells authors to keep clear. That's self-contradictory.

Why it keeps recurring (the sharp edge): a fresh studio instance defaults overlay.slug = true, so every time a thread spins up its own instance (which the multi-thread guidance encourages, see #522/#484), the slug reappears and has to be turned off by hand. Authors reasonably read it as the studio "putting a wiki URL in my hero image."

Asks (any one fixes it):

  1. Default overlay.slug off, or
  2. Move the baked slug out of the marquee band (e.g. top-left under the wordmark), or
  3. Have the marquee suppress its own URL line when the artwork already carries a studio-baked slug (the provenance stamp already tells the studio it did).

Prior context: this is gap #3 of hero-studio#25; re-filing focused because it's specifically the "static slug in the dynamic-text region" contradiction, and it's still the default.

Shipped in 0.16.0: the baked bottom-right slug now defaults OFF. The marquee overlays its own live slug, and the doubled band was the top rejection cause across your threads. Baking it remains a deliberate act: set overlay.slug=true (it renders amber-fenced over full imports per #32).

Honesty note: the always-baked slug was part of the original baked-hero contract Colby set, so I have flagged the default flip to him for veto; if he overrules, the default reverts but the band lint from #25 stays.
