DAC5311

Texas Instruments · Digital-to-analog converter · SC70-6

Tiny 8-bit voltage-output DAC in a six-pin SC70, driven over a 3-wire SPI. It uses its own supply as the reference, so the full-scale output tracks AVDD and no external reference is needed, and it settles quickly at low power. The small size and simple interface make it a cheap way to add a programmable analog level, a bias, a setpoint, or a contrast voltage, next to the circuit it controls. The 8-bit member of the DAC5311/6311/7311 family.

6 VOUT output Analog voltage output from the 8-bit DAC. Rail-to-rail output buffer amplifier drives 0 V to AVDD; stable with capacitive loads up to 1000 pF (RL = 2 kΩ). DC output impedance is 0.5 Ω.
