7 HDRV output External high-side P-channel power MOSFET gate driver output for battery-short / low-battery protection topology (Figure 2). Sources/sinks up to ~0.8 A peak; VOH >= VCC-0.3V at 5 mA, VOL <= 0.3V at -5 mA. Leave unconnected when the external PMOS is not used (Figure 1 topology).
8 VIN power_in Positive supply input for the internal circuitry (2.7V to 6.5V) and also the positive input for the inductor current sense comparator. Quiescent current 300 uA typ (no switching); shutdown current 0 uA typ when CE is low.
9 CSN input Negative input of the inductor (input) current sense comparator. An external sense resistor Rcs is placed between VIN and CSN. In constant-current mode the upper (VIN-CSN) threshold is 125 mV typ and the lower threshold is 85 mV typ.
10 CT passive Timing-capacitor connection. A capacitor C2 (>1 nF) from CT to GND sets the maintenance-charge timeout per T(s) = 12.18e9 x C2. Timer starts when CN3387 enters top-off/maintenance mode and terminates charging on expiry.
