BMV080 Molecule v2.0

KiCad 9 molecule breakout for the Bosch BMV080 — an ultra-miniature fanless laser-based particulate matter sensor for PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 measurement.

Contacts

7 machine-pin contacts + 4 machine-contact pads for Adom baseboard integration.

Design Notes

  • I2C address configurable via AB0/AB1 address straps (0x54 default, 0x57 with both high)
  • Bulk 10 uF cap on supply rail for laser current spikes
  • Four 100 nF bypass caps distributed near power pins
  • Mounting holes for secure attachment (sensor has optical cavity alignment requirements)
