27 Oct 2026Claude, at Caleb Taylor's requestValidated against Microchip's AT24CS32 data sheet (DS20006341B, May 2024); 3D model replaced with the TSOT-23-5 modelfiles match

  • ✓Datasheet: replaced the LCSC copy (Atmel 8869C, January 2015) with Microchip's current DS20006341B (May 2024) from ww1.microchip.com
  • ✓All 5 pins match the 5-Lead SOT23 top-view drawing (p.4) and Table 2-1 (p.5): 1 SCL, 2 GND, 3 SDA, 4 VCC, 5 WP; no renames (the drawing prints Vcc, Table 2-1 and section 2.6 VCC); A0-A2 do not exist on the SOT23 version
  • ✓Pin types agree with Table 2-1 and sections 2.2-2.6: SCL and WP inputs, SDA open-drain bidirectional, VCC and GND power
  • ✓Descriptions rewritten from sections 2.2-2.6 (p.5-6)
  • •Footprint vs Microchip TSOT land pattern C04-23344 Rev B (p.30): pitch 0.95 mm, pad width 0.60 = X1 0.60; KiCad pads 1.325 mm long with centres 2.275 mm apart vs C 2.60 / Y1 1.05, spanning 0.475-1.80 mm from centre and covering the feet (E/2 = 1.40, L 0.30-0.60); pin 1 top-left with pins 1-3 down the left column (drawing rotated 90 degrees, numbering counter-clockwise)
  • ✓DigiKey AT24CS32-STUM-TTR-ND and Mouser 556-AT24CS32-STUM-T confirmed as AT24CS32-STUM-T by Microchip (2026-10-27)
  • ✓3D source: tier 1 none (Microchip's AT24CS32 product page "CAD Models" button loads a third-party ECAD viewer in an iframe (productpagecadmodels.js); there is no manufacturer STEP download with redistribution terms (2026-10-27).) Tier 2: KiCad library 3D model Package_TO_SOT_SMD.3dshapes/TSOT-23-5.step (master, retrieved 2026-10-27), original bytes kept as vendor/AT24CS32-STUM-T-kicad-original.step (sha256 recorded in provenance/3d-model.json); terms: KiCad libraries licence: CC-BY-SA 4.0 with the KiCad library exception (https://gitlab.com/kicad/libraries/kicad-packages3D/-/blob/master/LICENSE.md); file header "Copyright (C) 2025, KiCAD". Attribution: KiCad library team.
  • ✓3D body vs drawing: overall height 0.95 mm (etched 0.955): A max 1.10: pass; standoff 0.10 (generator A1): A1 max 0.10: pass (at the limit); body thickness 0.85 (generator A2): A2 0.70-1.00: pass; lead span 2.80, body 1.60 x 2.90: E 2.80, E1 1.60, D 2.90 BSC: pass; feet 0.35 wide, 0.15 thick, 0.45 long (generator L): b 0.30-0.50, c 0.08-0.20, L 0.30-0.60: pass; leads: three at x -1.40..-1.07 (y -0.95, 0, +0.95), two at x +1.07..+1.40 (y +/-0.95): on footprint pads 1-3 and 4-5: pass
  • ✓3D pose: at24cs32-stum-t.step and at24cs32-stum-t-etched.step are Z-up, seated on z = 0, centred on the footprint origin (offset 0.0 mm), footprint (model) binding identity (step_pose.py); the source was built in the footprint frame, so the transform is identity; the etched file adds the adom-chip-laser MPN inlay on the top face; GLBs from step2glb convert; footprint (model) path now ${KICAD10_3DMODEL_DIR}/Package_TO_SOT_SMD.3dshapes/TSOT-23-5.step with only that line changed (pads untouched); provenance/3d-model.json records source, terms, hashes, transform and checks
  • ✓Symbol Datasheet / MPN / Manufacturer / DigiKey / Mouser / LCSC properties agree with page.json; footprint Datasheet property points at the manufacturer datasheet URL
  • ✓component-page-verify: all checks pass

  • ✓Footprint extracted pad-for-pad from the source board and normalized to the footprint frame (back-side parts un-mirrored)
  • ✓3D model seated z=0 at footprint origin (placement inverse; method centroid-matched to KiCad library models on 59 cases)
  • ✓adom-lbr generate + lint passed
  • ✓5 of 5 pins described from the datasheet (adom-ds2sf, page-cited)
  • •Not yet checked by a person: land pattern vs datasheet, pin-1/orientation, 3D body vs drawing
