AMPLH5030S-100MT 10 uH molded inductor
Public Made by Adomby adom
Nonpolar shielded inductor; provisional component qualification.
AMPLH5030S-100MT molded inductor
Abracon 10 µH ±20% shielded molded inductor. T specifies tape-and-reel packaging. The manufacturer lists 78 mΩ maximum DCR, typical 6.8 A saturation current at 30% inductance loss, and typical 5 A current producing approximately 40 °C rise from 25 °C ambient. These are different test conditions, not guaranteed circuit current limits. Operating temperature is −40 to 125 °C including self-heating.
L1 in the electronic load connects pin 1 to 5V_AUX and pin 2 to BOOST_SW. The part is nonpolar. Circuit ripple, peak current, losses and temperature still require review.
The manufacturer drawing on page 3 gives body 5.6 ±0.3 × 5.2 ±0.2 × 2.8 ±0.2 mm; the page header's 5.7 ×5.3 label is not the detailed body dimension. Pads are 2.15 ×3.50 mm at X ±2.175 mm, giving 6.50 mm outer span and 2.20 mm inner gap. This matches the existing board24 custom copper-pad geometry. Solder and fabrication process qualification remain open.
The clean STEP is the original Adom series model previously generated for the buck project, reused because the manufacturer assigns the same mechanical drawing to both inductance codes. It is not manufacturer CAD. Body edges are square, terminal thickness and wrap height are approximations, and factory ink is absent. It contains no 150-value marking. The model measures 5.66 ×5.20 ×2.80 mm including nominal terminal wrap. STEP is mm; GLB is meters; Z up, seating at zero. Use the clean model in assemblies and the annotated hero only for reference.
