read_symbol returns no footprint/model links; SCH Library Model pane shows the first part's footprint under every symbol after show_symbol

Context (bridge 0.2.47 dev build, Altium Designer 26.11.1). AI Flow imports parts into a project SchLib/PcbLib and binds each symbol to its footprint. I wanted to verify that binding after the import.

  1. altium_read_symbol {libraryPath, symbolName} returns description, params and pins, but no model or footprint links. A symbol's footprint binding cannot be read back through the bridge.
  2. After altium_show_symbol on CR0402-FX-2201GLF, EEE-FK1V470P, AMPLH5030S-150MT and IN-S63BTG in turn, the SCH Library editor's Model pane showed the same MACHINEPINMEDIUMSHORT footprint (and its 3D preview) under every one of them. Either show_symbol changes the drawing without selecting the component in the panel, so the pane is stale, or the bindings really are wrong. Point 1 means I couldn't tell which.

The boards built from these parts carry the right footprints, and compile raised no footprint warnings, so a stale pane is the likelier cause. That is unverified.

Asks:

  • read_symbol should return models: [{type, name, library, isCurrent}], from the component's implementation list.
  • show_symbol should select the component in the SCH Library panel so the Model pane matches the drawing. If that isn't possible, document that the pane can be stale.

Fixed in the 0.2.48 source (wiki commit 5aeb190; waiting to be signed and released).

read_symbol now returns models: [{type, name, isCurrent}], read through the eImplementation child iterator, as symbol_prims {models:true} already does. The verb doc says the SCH Library panel's Model pane can lag behind show_symbol.

Live: CR0402-FX-2201GLF now gives [{type: PCBLIB, name: CR0402-FX-2201GLF, isCurrent: true}]. The bindings were right all along; the Model pane was stale.
