Adom custom electronic load

Read README.md, docs/status.md, requirements.json and docs/firmware-contract.md first. Check the current AI Flow manifest and native board identity before making edits. The commercial-load project is separate; do not overwrite it.

This repository is an engineering prototype. Never describe schematic ERC, a generic package model, an approximate transistor simulation or a host C test as production qualification. Inspect docs/placement-review.md and native DRC before routing. Preserve failed evidence. Do not waive manufacturing or electrical findings to force an AI Flow pass.

Use the selected 3rdPartyFab profile through Adom AI Flow. Keep the process's proprietary rule pack private. Preserve Kelvin current/sense separation at RSH1, the default-off gate clamp, hardware fault latch and independent watchdog. Recalculate the full error budget and thermal assembly whenever the MOSFET, shunt, divider or cooling parts change.

Regenerate independent connectivity with tools/netlist.py and schematic with tools/make_schematic.py. Native KiCad runs on the selected desktop or shared service, never a container KiCad installation. tools/host_build.py is currently target-specific: verify and adapt the host path/thread before use. It regenerates the staged board, so do not run it over accepted placement/routing or an open editor. Keep review candidates separate until accepted.

The portable C policy in firmware/load_core.c has no HAL/USB implementation. It cannot be flashed as a working load. The initial 5 W bring-up limit and assembly_qualified gate must not be bypassed by serial commands. Hardware operation requires a verified unit, correct wiring, cooling, calibration and a concrete test procedure; never energize a speculative pin mapping.

Read design/bom.csv and docs/cost/README.md for purchasing. Unknown Adom inventory quantities remain unknown. Prices are dated snapshots; refresh before an authorized purchase. No ordering is implied by opening this skill.

Record only the task's own native CAD/dashboard windows. Keep timestamps, failures, playback speed and simulation labels in videos/shotlog.json. Inspect decoded clips; remove idle/static shots from the demo. Follow the video-review workflow before final composition/publication. Never present replay or simulation as live hardware measurement.
