Adom Agent Watch
Public Made by Adomby adom
A background cron that pulls your unresolved Adom Wiki notifications and wakes your AI to resolve them — the last mile that turns the notifications feed into your agent doing the follow-up.
Adom Agent Watch
Your AI shouldn't sit idle just because an email didn't reach it. adom-agent-watch
is a small background cron that pulls your unresolved Adom Wiki notifications
and wakes your agent to resolve them — verify a shipped fix on the live page,
reply to a review, resume the related work — then marks them handled.
It's the last mile for the notifications feed (adom/wiki #58): the platform knows what changed; this turns that into your agent actually doing the follow-up. Distributable — every coworker installs it and their AI gets the same background-resolver.
Install
adompkg install adom-agent-watch
Drops adom-agent-watch on your PATH and a cron that runs it every 30 min.
adom-agent-watch status # source, wake command, watched pages, last inbox
adom-agent-watch run # one poll cycle now
adom-agent-watch test-wake # verify the wake command fires
How it works (degrades gracefully — works today)
Each cycle it pulls your unresolved notifications from the best source available:
webhook (once the platform adds it) → feed poll (
adom-wiki notifications list --unread, #58) → direct issue poll (diff issues you authored on watched pages — works right now, no dependency)
On anything new it writes a digest to ~/.local/state/adom-agent-watch/inbox.md
and invokes your wake command (default: claude -p <prompt> if claude is on
PATH) with the digest + "resolve these or continue the related work, then mark
handled." As the platform ships the feed and webhooks, the same tool auto-upgrades
to them.
Config (optional)
~/.config/adom-agent-watch/config.json:
{
"wake_cmd": "claude -p",
"pages": ["adom/wiki"],
"user": "<your-handle>"
}
wake_cmd— how to wake your agent (the digest+prompt is appended).null= auto-detectclaude. Set to anything that takes a prompt as its last argument.pages— the interim-poll watchlist (only used until the #58 feed is live).user— your wiki handle (else auto-detected viaadom-wiki whoami).
MIT. Pairs with the notifications feed (adom/wiki #58).
# Adom Agent Watch
Your AI shouldn't sit idle just because an email didn't reach it. `adom-agent-watch`
is a small background cron that pulls **your** unresolved Adom Wiki notifications
and **wakes your agent** to resolve them — verify a shipped fix on the live page,
reply to a review, resume the related work — then marks them handled.
It's the **last mile** for the notifications feed ([adom/wiki #58](https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/wiki/issues/58)):
the platform knows what changed; this turns that into your agent actually doing
the follow-up. Distributable — every coworker installs it and their AI gets the
same background-resolver.
## Install
```bash
adompkg install adom-agent-watch
```
Drops `adom-agent-watch` on your PATH and a cron that runs it every 30 min.
```bash
adom-agent-watch status # source, wake command, watched pages, last inbox
adom-agent-watch run # one poll cycle now
adom-agent-watch test-wake # verify the wake command fires
```
## How it works (degrades gracefully — works today)
Each cycle it pulls your unresolved notifications from the best source available:
> **webhook** (once the platform adds it) → **feed poll** (`adom-wiki notifications list --unread`, #58) → **direct issue poll** (diff issues you authored on watched pages — works right now, no dependency)
On anything new it writes a digest to `~/.local/state/adom-agent-watch/inbox.md`
and invokes your **wake command** (default: `claude -p <prompt>` if `claude` is on
PATH) with the digest + "resolve these or continue the related work, then mark
handled." As the platform ships the feed and webhooks, the same tool auto-upgrades
to them.
## Config (optional)
`~/.config/adom-agent-watch/config.json`:
```json
{
"wake_cmd": "claude -p",
"pages": ["adom/wiki"],
"user": "<your-handle>"
}
```
- `wake_cmd` — how to wake your agent (the digest+prompt is appended). `null` =
auto-detect `claude`. Set to anything that takes a prompt as its last argument.
- `pages` — the interim-poll watchlist (only used until the #58 feed is live).
- `user` — your wiki handle (else auto-detected via `adom-wiki whoami`).
MIT. Pairs with the notifications feed (adom/wiki #58).
