  • ✓Datasheet: the page already carries Molex's current sales drawing SD-503398-003 rev J (dated 2020/01/14, released 2020/04/02); sha256 5eacff35 matches the molex.com salesdrawingpdf fetched 2026-10-27
  • ✓Pins 1-8 match the drawing's contact list (p.1) by number and name: DAT2, CD/DAT3, CMD, VDD, CLK, Vss, DAT0, DAT1. Renamed 2 DAT3/CD -> CD/DAT3 and 6 VSS -> Vss (drawing spelling)
  • ✓Pads 9 and 10 identified from the recommended PCB pattern (p.2): pad 9 (0.90 x 0.93 mm, 2.21 mm from the left edge) is DETECT LEVER MOUNT AREA (Vss: GROUND), pad 10 (1.05 x 0.78 mm, 6.40 mm from the left edge) is DETECT SWITCH MOUNT AREA; renamed 9 DETECT SWITCH -> DETECT LEVER. Note 4: switch closed with a card inserted, open with no card. Pad 11 = the four SHELL MOUNT AREA pads
  • ✓Pin types: all passive (connector contacts); was bidirectional/input/power_in on the card contacts
  • ✓Descriptions rewritten from the drawing only (the old text carried SPI-mode, supply-range and clock-rate claims the Molex drawing does not make); pin 2 described
  • ✓Footprint vs recommended PCB pattern (p.2): 8 terminal pads 0.70 x 1.10 mm at 1.10 mm pitch, 0.35 mm below the pattern's top edge, pin 1 centre 4.45 mm from the left edge, pin 1 to pin 8 = 7.70 mm; shell pads 1.14 x 1.83 (top left), 0.86 x 2.80 (top right), 0.70 x 3.33 (both bottom corners); detect pads 0.90 x 0.93 and 1.05 x 0.78; overall 13.66 x 13.83 mm: every pad matches. Pin 1 at the left of the terminal row as in the drawing
  • ✓3D body: shell 13.50 x 14.34 x 1.28 mm against width 13.1 +0.4/-0.2, length 14.05 +-0.3, height 1.28 +0.12/-0.1 (p.1); the STEP's overall 14.51 mm includes the two detect-contact tails 0.17 mm beyond the shell. Terminal tails sit on pads 1-8 and the detect tails on pads 9 and 10; Z-up, seated on z = 0
  • ✓DigiKey WM11190TR-ND (tape and reel) and Mouser 538-503398-1892 confirmed by part lookup 2026-10-27 (Molex 5033981892 / 503398-1892)
  • ✓Symbol and footprint Datasheet properties point at the manufacturer datasheet URL
  • ✓Symbol Datasheet / MPN / Manufacturer / DigiKey / Mouser / LCSC properties agree with page.json; footprint Datasheet property points at the manufacturer datasheet URL

  • ✓Footprint extracted pad-for-pad from the source board and normalized to the footprint frame (back-side parts un-mirrored)
  • ✓3D model seated z=0 at footprint origin (placement inverse; method centroid-matched to KiCad library models on 59 cases)
  • ✓adom-lbr generate + lint passed
  • •10 of 11 pins described from the datasheet (adom-ds2sf, page-cited)
  • •Not yet checked by a person: land pattern vs datasheet, pin-1/orientation, 3D body vs drawing
