IN-S63BTA is the amber member of Inolux's IN-S63BT series: a low-profile 0603 top-view indicator LED in a clear, PCB-type moulded package.p.1 It uses the AlInGaP die family shared with the red and yellow variants,p.8 sitting at a dominant wavelength of 605 nm.p.3
Budget 2.2 V across it at the 20 mA test point and it returns 140 mcd.p.3 Drive it through a current-limiting resistor rather than straight off a rail — the datasheet says so explicitlyp.13 — and keep continuous current at or below 25 mA.p.2 At 3.3 V that is a (3.3 − 2.2) / 0.02 = 55 Ω resistor for the full 20 mA, and the drop is identical to the red variant's, so amber and red status lights can share one resistor value.p.3
One limit is tighter than the rest of the series: the AlInGaP colours are rated for only 70 mA peak pulse (1/10 duty, 0.1 ms), where the InGaN members get 100 mAp.2 — do not recycle a multiplexed drive designed for the blue or green parts. The 120° viewing anglep.3 makes it a wide-angle indicator, and reverse voltage is rated to only 5 V.p.2
