Drives the gate of a power MOSFET or IGBT from a logic signal, sourcing 4 A and sinking 8 A to switch it quickly and cut switching loss. Separate OUTH and OUTL pins let a resistor set the turn-on and turn-off speeds independently, and the inputs are TTL/CMOS compatible with hysteresis and an inverting option (IN-, IN+). Propagation delay is about 13 ns. A small, fast low-side driver for switch-mode supplies and motor stages.
