Low-dropout linear regulator that delivers 1 A with only about 200 mV of dropout at full load, in a small SOT-23-5. A fast transient response holds the output steady under sudden load steps, an EN pin gates it, and fixed-output order codes cover the common logic rails. Internal current limit and thermal shutdown protect it. A cheap, capable point-of-load LDO for cleaning up a rail or dropping a slightly higher supply to a fixed logic voltage.
