Hex Schmitt-trigger inverter in a SOIC-14 package: six independent inverters, each Y = /A, with Schmitt-trigger inputs that add hysteresis (typ 0.9 V at VCC = 4.5 V). The hysteresis cleans up slow, noisy, or bouncing edges, so it is the default for debouncing, squaring up sensor signals, simple RC oscillators, and edge conditioning. Runs 2-6 V.
