If VTS < 45% VCC (VTS-L) or > 80% VCC (VTS-H), charging is suspended (battery too hot/cold). Tie to VCC to disable temperature sensing. Ground TS to disable the chip and terminate charging.
6 BAT power_out Battery connection pin. Connect the positive terminal of the Li-Ion battery here. Provides regulated 4.2V float voltage (±1%) and charge current up to 3A (3.5A max). Draws <2µA in disable/sleep mode.
7 GND power_in Ground reference for the device. Connect to system ground; also connect the exposed thermal pad to this ground plane for heat dissipation.
8 LX output Switching node - external inductor connection. Output of the internal synchronous buck power stage (P-FET/N-FET, RDS(on) ~50mΩ each) switching at 0.8MHz. Connect a 2.2µH-10µH inductor (3.3µH recommended for 3A) between LX and the BAT-side output capacitor.
