The external sense resistor R_S (≥ 0.082 Ω) is connected between VIN and CSN; the internal comparator regulates the average LED current to I_OUT = 0.1 / R_S with a ±5% accuracy (V_CSN threshold ≈ 100 mV, ±15% hysteresis). Rated 0.3 V to -6 V relative to VIN.
5 VIN power_in Main supply input, 6 V to 30 V recommended (absolute max 35 V, UVLO ≈ 5.1 V rising, 500 mV hysteresis). A low-ESR bypass capacitor (≥ 4.7 µF X5R/X7R) must be placed close to this pin.
EP Exposed PAD passive Exposed thermal pad on the underside of the SOT89-5 package. Provides the primary heat-dissipation path (θJA ≈ 45 °C/W) and is internally connected to ground. Must be soldered to a PCB copper plane and tied to the GND net.
