DRV5055

Texas Instruments · Hall-effect sensor · SOT-23

Outputs an analog voltage proportional to the magnetic field through its face, centered at half the supply so it reads both magnetic poles. It is ratiometric to VCC, so an ADC on the same rail measures field directly, and on-chip temperature compensation holds the sensitivity flat over temperature, which older linear Hall sensors struggle with. Sensitivity options (A1-A4) trade range against resolution. Runs from 3.3 or 5 V. A precise analog sensor for position, angle, and current sensing with a magnet.
