Texas Instruments · Hall-effect switch (magnetic) · SOT-23-3

Digital omnipolar Hall-effect switch with a chopper-stabilized front end, in a SOT-23 package. The open-drain output pulls low when the magnetic flux density of either polarity exceeds the B_OP threshold and releases to high-impedance below B_RP. It runs from 2.5 to 38 V with reverse-supply protection to -22 V, sinks 30 mA, and has built-in overcurrent protection. Used for proximity, position, tamper, and rotation sensing next to a magnet.
