Vishay · Small-signal switching diode · DO-35

General-purpose fast switching diode for signal-level work, in a through-hole DO-35 glass package. It blocks 100 V, passes up to 200 mA, and recovers in about 4 ns, which suits it to logic clamping, small rectification, catch diodes, and steering in low-power circuits. The forward drop is around 1 V at 10 mA. Functionally the same as the 1N4148, and one of the most common signal diodes in through-hole designs.

Pinout

Pin Name Type Function
1 K passive Cathode, indicated by the band on the DO-35 body. Withstands VR = 100 V reverse.
2 A passive Anode. Forward current flows from anode to cathode; VF ~1 V @ 10 mA.
