Feeds polled every cycle; new items post to your Google Chat space. Changes go live within one poll cycle — no restart.
Set up your first feed
Create a webhook for the Chat space you want posts in:
open the space in Google Chat, click the space name at the top,
then Apps & integrations → Webhooks →
Add webhook. Name it (e.g. RSS) and copy the URL it gives you.
The URL looks like https://chat.googleapis.com/v1/spaces/…/messages?key=…&token=…
Below, click Add feed: paste the RSS feed URL,
give it a label (shown as a prefix on every post), and paste the webhook
URL from step 1.
dedup: choose guid for news feeds (post once per article) or
guid+date for status pages (re-post when an incident updates).
Click Save. Then pin this page's link to the
space (paste the URL in a message, hover it, Pin) so editing feeds is
always one click away.
New feeds never flood the space: only items published after you add
the feed are posted.
dedup — guid: post once per item (news). guid+date: re-post when an
item updates (status pages). Saving an empty list pauses all posting. Feeds keep their
read-history when relabeled (state keys on the feed URL).
