# MP2393 Buck Converter (12V to 5V)

A reusable **circuit** design block: an MP2393GTL-Z synchronous step-down converter
configured for a 5V output from a 12V input, with its full passive network and a
routed layout.

This is a KiCad 10 **design block**. You can:

- **View** the schematic and the board layout in the interactive viewers.
- **Export the native `.kicad_block`** (in `block/`) and drop it straight into KiCad 10
from the Design Blocks panel, layout and routing intact.
- Ask to **add this circuit to your PCB** and have the parts and layout placed into
  your own project.

## Contents

| File | What |
|---|---|
| `mp2393-buck-5v.kicad_sch` / `.kicad_pcb` | KiCad 10 sources (schematic + routed layout) |
| `block/` | The native `.kicad_block` (schematic + layout + metadata) |
| `adom-block.json` | Neutral block model (parts + placement), for cross-EDA export |

## Circuit

Main device: **MP2393GTL-Z** (MPS, SOT-583-8). 15 parts including the power inductor
(4.9uH), input/output caps (22uF 0805), and the feedback divider setting 5V out.
Interface: **VIN**, **Vout**, **GND**.
